SPHERE Research Study Participation Opportunity
Clinic 66 Online is supporting a research study led by Monash University and SPHERE, exploring the experiences of people living in rural and remote Australian communities who have accessed medication abortion.
The aim of this research is to help improve clinical guidelines and support safe, accessible abortion care no matter where someone lives.
Your voice and experience can help shape better healthcare for people across Australia.
Who can take part?
You may be eligible to participate if:

You live in a rural or remote Australian community

You speak English
-
You have had an abortion within the last 5 weeks to 6 months

You are 18 years or older
What does participation involve?

A confidential 60-minute virtual interview (phone or video)
-
The interview focuses on your experience accessing abortion care in your location
(It will not ask questions about your decision to have an abortion)
Reimbursement
Why this research matters?
As a thank-you for your time, participants will receive a $50 e-gift card
People living in remote areas can face unique barriers to care.
This study will help inform safe practice guidelines, improve service delivery, and support better access to care for communities across Australia.
