MB BS, MPH, FRACGP
Service Focus
As a procedural GP, I have broad skills. I am able to consult with patients, undertake procedures and provide sedation. I have always been fascinated by the field of Reproductive and Sexual Health, because it looks after essentially well adults, who need assistance with personal and sometimes embarrassing issues which impact on their quality of life. This primary care based specialty integrates at a primary care level, office based gynaecology, obstetrics and urology, sexual health medicine, anaesthetics, public health and of course general practice. As we work in the primary care setting, our patients do not need a referral to see us and we are able to provide holistic, patient centred care for issues which are often poorly addressed in main stream general practice and by specialists. We can really make a difference to peoples whilst remaining affordable. This is both fascinating and rewarding!

Overview
I studied medicine because I wanted to help people. That sounds like a cliché but it matters just as much to me now as it did 35 years ago. Now that I have my own company, I am able to ensure that the patient remains at the centre of our business vision. Clinic 66 is 100% patient focused and always will be. Every process and training objective revolves around you, our client; the quality of your care, your outcomes and satisfaction. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to practice medicine in a variety of settings and cultures. My experience has been broad and included post graduate training in Emergency and retrieval medicine, International primary care, general practice, public health and obstetrics and gynaecology. I am driven to improve womens health, particularly in terms of reproductive and sexual health because getting that right, means that the whole community benefits. Give me a healthy woman with the right number of healthy children, and she will ensure the health of the whole community.
